This guide walks you through every feature so you can make the most of your wine collection.

Getting Started

Registration

To create your account:

• Visit MyWines.me

• Download the app (iOS or Android)

• Click Register

• Fill in your email, name, country, and password

• Optionally add a referral code

• Accept the terms and click Sign Up

Email Verification

• Check your inbox for a verification email

• Click the link to confirm your address

• Some features are limited until your email is verified

Logging In

• Open the app and enter your credentials

Wine Collection Management

Adding a Wine

You can add a wine manually or using AI:

Manual Entry:

• Click “+” or Add Wine

• Fill in details: name, type, year, region, grape, producer, etc.

• Optionally add a photo

Using AI Label Analysis:

• Upload a label photo

• AI extracts and fills details

• Review and save

AI Label Analysis

• Identifies wine name, producer, vintage, region, and more

• Offers estimates for taste profile, aging potential, and food pairing

Editing Wine Details

• Open the wine in your collection

• Click Edit, make changes, then Save

Rating Your Wines

• Click a wine > Add Rating

• Use 1–10 stars and optional tasting notes

Finding Duplicate Wines

• MyWines automatically checks for duplicates

• You can merge or keep both entries

Cellar Management

Adding Wines to Your Cellar

• Toggle In Cellar from the wine details

• The system estimates aging timeline and readiness

Viewing Your Cellar

• Click the Cellar tab

• Filter by type, year, status, etc.

Aging Information

• View age, aging potential, drink-from and best-before years

• Adjust manually as needed

Consuming Wines from Your Cellar

• Toggle off In Cellar or click Consume

• Optionally rate and add tasting notes

AI Sommelier

Wine Label Analysis

• Upload a label via AI Sommelier section

• Get extracted data with food pairings and price estimates

Wine Recommendations

• AI suggests wines based on your ratings and preferences

• Save recommended wines to a wishlist

AI Usage Quota

• Free: limited AI uses

• Premium: more monthly uses

• Pro: extra access

Dashboard Sharing

Inviting Friends

• Go to Sharing > Invite Friend

• Enter email, optional message, and toggle cellar sharing

Accepting Invitations

• Click the link in your invite email

• Log in or register to view the shared dashboard

Managing Shared Dashboards

• Switch between shared and personal dashboards

• Compare ratings and disconnect if needed

Cellar Sharing Options

• Choose whether to share your cellar

• Enable/disable cellar sharing per connection

Profile Management

Updating Personal Information

• Go to Profile > Edit name, country, and photo

Email Notification Preferences

• Toggle notifications for updates, invites, cellar alerts, and more

Password Management

• Change your password in the Security section

Privacy and Data Management

Data Handling

• Your data is securely stored and only used to provide the service

• All data will be permanently erased
